Walking Walls and Planting Pumpkins

The East Quabbin Land Trust activities this weekend were full of opportunities to be outdoors and explore various aspects of our wonderful woods and fields. On Saturday, we literally walked some of the walls at the Patrill Hollow Preserve. The boundary lines now have tags identifying the walls and barbed wire fence as EQLT land. Unfortunately, my camera batteries died before the first picture of Becky Ikehara daintily walking along the wall could be taken.

During Sunday morning a great group lead by Margarita Brown successfully planted the pumpkins, squash and corn at the Frohloff Farm. Feel free to stop by the farm during the summer and see the plants grow!
