Happy Earth Day 2023! Thanks to the dedicated volunteers and helpers, a dozen trees are now planted throughout the Ware dog park. The trees will bring re-leaf this summer when it’s hot outside – for people, dogs and all the other creatures that feed and live on trees!
This is the first planting for the spring 2023 season. We hope to get 150 trees planted in the neighborhoods of Ware this spring to add to the greening canopy of the town. This work is funded by the US Forest Service and Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation as part of a grant to make landscape-scale changes.
