EQLT staff and volunteers have been busy installing eight new kestrel boxes around our region. This season’s new boxes include a special screened in side panel that can be lifted to safely view any kestrel chicks without opening the main door. A big thanks to Jeff, Mike, Merlon, Brooke, Harrison, Margaret, Sara, Jess, and Cynthia for all their help this season! We hope to have many new kestrels born in these nest boxes this year, and for many years to come.
