We celebrated the completion of construction on the Mass Central Rail Trail portion off Church Street in Ware with a ribbon cutting on September 8th. Trail advocates and users, conservationists, neighbors and legislators all shared in the excitement of this new accessible trail. There is parking on Church Street. From there, visitors can go 1.6 miles north or 1.2 miles south. Additional construction is needed to connect the MCRT to other conservation areas or sections of the rail trail. Please be respectful of our neighbors by staying on the trail and respectful of other users by cleaning up litter and dog waste.
