We had beautiful weather for EQLT’s annual grassland bird monitoring at Wendemuth and Mandell Hill. It’s a bit later than normal, and the species list reflects that change. We spent an hour and a half walking the trail loop with seven official monitoring stops.
Here’s the species list from Wendemuth Meadow in alphabetical order of common name. We did use the Merlin app which confirmed some of the sightings and has the calls easy to play.
