Sunday afternoon was beautiful after the morning rain. Twenty-five members of the East Quabbin Land Trust joined together for a wonderful potluck meal at our offices, 120 Ridge Road in Hardwick. We shared the latest ‘goings-on’ at the land trust, elected board members and officers.
Before the meal the group walked to Mandell Hill to check out the completely redone Cris Ellison Memorial Birding Platform. Huge thanks goes to Bud P. for leading the charge on the project, Mike S. spent lots of time helping with the carpentry work, plus Hardwick Post and Beam who donated their time on building the new frame!
