The beautiful fields along the main road from New Braintree to West Brookfield are now permanently protected!! That is thanks to the Walker family and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources for their interest and investment in conserving an important farm in central Massachusetts. The farm will be open for active agriculture into the future.
Local financial support came from members of the East Quabbin Land Trust, the Towns of New Braintree and West Brookfield, the Trustees of Reservations and the J. Irving England and Jane L. England Charitable Trust. Many thanks to all who supported this conservation effort.
